i am always open to discussing travel with my clients! it is customary for the client to provide lodging and cover travel expenses. i can’t wait to hear where we are going!

it's exciting to receive your final images!  the processing time of your final images depends on the number of images to be retouched and if your session took place during a busy season... like senior season.

my typical turnaround time is between 1-3 weeks after your images have been selected. 

i will go through each final image with care. flyaway hair and facial blemishes will be removed to create a polished look. fine lines and dark circles under the eyes will be reduced and a minimal amount of teeth whitening and eye brightening will also be rendered if necessary. 

these more advanced photoshop techniques can be rendered for an additional fee as they are not part of the normal retouching process. please discuss this with me prior to your session so that i can give you a quote. 

no! Complete honesty... this is probably every photographer's least favorite question. :) not everything can be photoshopped in or out. as a visual artist i do my best to “get it right in camera”. the last thing we want to do is spend lots of extra time in photoshop if it can be avoided. 

please arrive at your session with hair colored and cut to your liking. most importantly, please make sure that your children have clean clothes, faces and noses :) your photographer will thank you! 

braces removal can be rendered for an additional fee of $15.00 per image. 

yes! my job is to capture your special moments and make sure you have access to them. your photos are yours to have and to share. i will give you a digital photo release with your final images and also give you local and online printing recommendations.

i deliver high resolution images which can be printed to almost any size. the skys the limit! 

for outdoor sessions i am after the best light! I prefer either first thing in the morning around 8:00am or two hours before sunset... the colorado sun is low in the sky and makes for the best and most flattering light.

for studio sessions we can shoot almost any time of day.

I Prefer To Conduct Sessions Monday Through Friday. In Certain Circumstance I Will Make Exceptions For A Weekend Session Per Request.

No Sessions Available During Friday And Saturday Evenings... As This Time Is Reserved For My Family And Social Time.  

i get it! many people are uncomfortable in front of the camera! i always do my best to make each session fun and relaxed for my clients... like friends hanging out.

Family Sessions... I Recommend Outfits And Colors That Compliment Each Other. Outfits Don't Need To Match Unless That Is The Desired Look.

yes... i love animals and they are an important part of your life! all pets are welcome to join your session! 

if you have an especially “peppy” animal it's helpful to bring a friend to handle your pet when it's not in the photos.

i always want the very best outcome for my clients! in cases of inclement weather such as rain, heavy snow, below 30 degree temperatures, heavy wind and dark gloomy skies... it will be best to reschedule.

i am a weather watcher and will typically contact you first to discuss. 

there is nothing worse than trying to capture life's precious moments with a sick child. it's important that your child is feeling themselves on the day of their session.

please contact me to reschedule if your baby or child has a fever, runny nose or any other obvious symptoms. 

in colorado the best window for fall foliage is the middle two weeks of october. please note that mother nature is fully in charge of this window and an early frost can change how things look!

i am a canon girl! i have been shooting with canon products for the past 16 years and use the top of the line equipment that canon has to offer. my camera is set to “manual” and “raw” mode in order to capture the largest images possible with the most data for post processing.

when your images are delivered they will be in jpg format for printing. i do not deliver tiff or raw format images.
